    Brian, great post. Next week I’m on vacation and I’ll use it as a back off week. Lots of stretching, mobility, and rehab. And, I’ll take my foam roller with me.

    Thanks to everyone for the nice comments yesterday! I’ve been out of the office all day so this is my first time checking in. I figured that if I posted my thanks this late in the day on the Tuesday board, no one would see it and just assume that I’m an unresponsive ass…which may actually be true but I’m trying to improve. Either way, you guys are great and really are the primary reason that I love PCF.

    Great post, Kevin. I know you don’t know me personally, but I feel exactly the same way about my knee injury. I was doing Crossfit by myself while I was away for a year. And I kept hurting my knee. Now, I’m back… working on it… but am constantly disheartened by how much it holds me back. At times, I feel like I’ll never get where I want to be… I’ll try to work on that patience thing. Thanks. It helps knowing I’m not the only one feeling this frustration.

    Anyone going to the Jimmy Buffett concert this Saturday? My girlfriend and I, along with some of her friends are going. We are trying to get a party bus or any kind of safe means of transportation to avoid drinking and driving. If you know of anyone who has a party bus reserved and needs spots filled let me know.     Does anyone else think it is a coincidence that Jon has decided to do Helen on Friday at 6….during the 12 hours that Earl is scheduled to visit DC? Jon, no excuses or “do-overs” if the weather is shitty.

    Also, I won’t be back by then…so B, I expect you will judge his ROM appropriately.

    And now I’ve got to go burn some running shoes and body glide in a sacrifice to the running gods…..because there is no way in hell I want to lose this bet and end up running the 10 miler.

    Jon – I’ll volunteer to judge your reps as I’ll be stricter than anyone else or I could do my own challenge and take a drink for each rep you do plus chug while you run the 400 meters. 8 minutes of straight drinking versus 8 minutes of straight exercise.
