I figure I did enough running type WODS with Helen Fell Down and then Karen last saturday at the park. I did the WOD from the games.

5 Rounds

5 Deadlifts (275lbs)
10 Burpees

7:47

Burpees are from the Devil. I thought I had done well until I went and checked the times from the games. I couldn't have done the burpees alone in the time it took those guys to do the whole WOD. Still, I probably could have just worked harder and shaved time. Still, it was hard. At least I wouldn't have been timed out at the games.

Helen, as rx'd (for women)
3 rounds:
400m run
21 dumbbell swings (35#)
12 pullups

13:20

I contend I could have shaved off a bit of time had I not done this at the Pentagon gym (which requires running up and down the stairs each set between the track and the dumbbells/pullup bars) and had I not had to relocate on the third round cause some dude set up in my swing/pullup area to do curls with the barbell. Sigh. I really do need to get better at the WODs that involve running, though.
