So we don’t have 14lb balls and I would prefer people went light on the ball and did the 10 feet unbroken. So guys should use either 20 or 16 and women should 12 and below.
Unbroken means unbroken. Standing with the ball and holding it but not completing reps is not unbroken.
You may rest as long as you want between completed sets of both wallballs and KB swings.

KB swings?

By KB Swings I meant double unders.

Wow. This was tough. It’s a wierd day when you think that the wall balls are the easiest part of the WOD. I can’t string DU’s yet, so I worked towards the 1-1-2-1-1-2-1-1-2 pattern. It was still painful – and I have the jump rope whip welts to prove it!
4 rounds = scaled (3 rnds w/ 40 DU’s not strung, 1 rnd w/ 20 DU’s strung)

9 rounds. wall balls smoked me. DUs were surprisingly good and got better as i went along. last several sets i got on the first try. used 12# inside, so not 10 ft rx’d. exhausting but good

Ugly 7 rounds scaled to 20 wall balls (unbroken rounds 1 and 2 only), DU’s were max attempts unbroken trying for a min of 10, got – 15/10/8/13/14/15/6

9 rounds…wall balls were awful. DU did seem like the easiest part and luckily I was flying through them.

11 Rounds RX”D
Great workout. Definitely a mental one, so 5 and 6 pm folks, remember that.

8 Rounds.
12lb wall balls at 10ft target (went off the bounce so I can’t consider that perscribed)
March 21st, 2010 on 6:20 pm
9.5 rnds RX
This was absolutely awful.

11 Rounds RXd.
Ummmm, I was about a million miles away from 12 rounds, so I guess I paced it correctly. Every wall ball set after the second round was VERY challenging. Double unders were an afterthought.
This workout was perfect for what it was trying to accomplish. That said a DIFFERENT but rather valuable WOD would be 12-15 wall balls and 40 double unders. That would be closer to continuous work rather than strategic rest.

10.5, rx’d, depending on how you define “unbroken”

7 rounds
For the record, I think that the 10 foot mark outside is higher than 10 feet.
Just saying.

8 rounds but certainly not rx’d. Gotta admit I threw short a couple of inches on a few reps, and my “unbrokenness” was definitely suspect. Frickin’ tough WOD!!

I agree with the concensus, this was terrible. I did 90 double unders the first round to get 20 in a row and almost cried. Luckily my girls told me to keep at it (sal, alison, and katie: LYL) and round 2-5 the DUs went smoothly. Repeating missed wall balls for height was a bitch. Squat depth may have been suspect on some wall balls…
