    Coach’s Note:

In case you haven’t noticed, we have hit your chest pretty hard for the last few days. If you are feeling it, ring rows would be a good sub for today’s workout. If you aren’t feeling it, gor for the ring push-ups.

Since I don’t know my weight, I figured I was around 190 so did that for the 1st round. Then I decided that I lost 5 lbs during Vegas Mike’s send off and dropped the weight down to 185 for the next 4 rounds. That seemed about right.

I also ran the Jingle All the Way 10K this morning. I tried my best to stay in Pose. It is the longest I’ve run so far in Pose and it was awesome. I think my calves will feel it tomorrow, but it was the most effortless 10K I’ve ever done. I finished in 52:51. Placed 371/2255 among women, and 58/371 in age/gender group. Pace was 8:31 and 5K split was 26:31. Had some problems with my left foot hurting on top, but I think I tied my laces too tight or I need to tie that shoe differently. My right heel also wound up hurting, but I’m wondering if the left pain threw me off and resulted in right foot “bad form.”

Jon, thanks for the seminar yesterday. It was great and I hope it helps some of my running friends prevent injury and enjoy running more.

7:43 @ 85#. Was able to do 95# during the warm up and then got nervous or something and had to scale down when the timer started.
