    Hey guys,

Great job on the Painstorm yesterday. I wished I had been there to participate. Sounds like you guys enjoyed it? If you did, there’s another something similar coming up in the next few weeks so make sure you are eating well, hydrating and taking your rest days. Oh, and don’t forget to stretch and/or do your SMR!

    See you soon,

    tes

Great job to everyone this morning – Snatch is a complicated lift that we probably don’t do as often as we should – but overall, people looked good today – even in the later rounds when fatigue was definitely setting in.

If anyone is interested, there are some great articles on Olympic Lifting (Clean & Jerk, Snatch) on the Performance Menu. Here is one to get you started:

    “Am I crazy?” Sunday
    5 pm WOD = 28:26 as rx’d (row 500m)
6 pm WOD = 95-95-115-125 (called it a day after second set of 3)

Rowing was a bad choice (as usual)… but pushed through. Thanks to Drew, Siddharth, and Dan for motivation at the end.

Great job Rick and thanks for the motivation/tips

6 pm class: Instead of OHS, which would kill my shoulder, I subbed front squats:

    5-5-3-3-1-1

    135/145/155/165/175/185(pr)

Oh and thanks to Dan for the words of wisdom.

    Followed Spider Monkey’s lead:
    5PM: 25 minutes even – RX’d weight/reps and 500M row
    6PM: 95(5), 95(5), 115(3), 125(3), called it quits.

    Had to give the OHS a try. OHS – 155 x 5.

Wow, in light of that, my back squat is even more pathetic.

Nice job to everyone tonight. Saw some great strides on the Snatch.
