    Hello everyone!

Some of you may have thought that I was competing at the regional qualifiers. Actually, I was at a over head squat (OHS) clinic. Just kidding. People who made the trip will understand what I mean.

I am the first one to make it back to DC in one piece.Just made it back for the 5:00 pm WOd in the box. :)

This was an awesome experience. It was one of the toughest thing that I had to endure. I got to see some incredible athletes out of this planet. Overall the experience was humbeling.

I can not thank to the people who came out there to support us. Especially the ladies who cooked, cheered and fed us through out the day.

All PCF staff thank you for making this possible.

OK here is the painful part. saturday there were 3 WODs. Everyone did them in different order. Below are my times and the order it was done.

    Saturday
    WOD #1

    21-15-9

    95/65 OHS
    24/20 Box jumps
    400 m run

    Time: 13:36

    WOD #2

    2k row

    Time: 7:38

    WOD #3

    3rnds for time

    275/185 DL
    50 DU

    DNF

    Sunday

    WOD

    21-15-9 reps, for time of:
    95/65 pound Squat snatch
    Chest to bar Pull-ups

    DNF

I came into this event with none existent OHS and snatch. I’ve avoided these movements in the box due to my shoulder flexibility and what do you know; there were two WODS with OHS and snatch. I was pleased with my performance on first and second wod. Finishing the OHS wod under 15 min. was an accomplishment. The double unders got to me in 3rd WOD. I was 25 DUs short when the time expired. I thought this would be the WOD that I would breeze through, I was wrong. Fatigue and heavy weight at the end of the day was to blame.

I did not get to finish the Sunday morning WOD (snatch/OHS/pullups) as well. I was through round two of 12 pull ups when the time expired.

Everyone else is doing well. Aaron has a big shot getting into the top 6. I hope you made it Aaron.

If I learned one thing from the trip it is OHS!!

Rest day tomorrow. See you all Tuesday at the box.

6:00 pm Class. Time: Infinity…in fact still waiting for it to begin. Seven or eight of us showed up, but the box was locked! WTF?

  11. Curtis

My apologies in re to the PM classes. We had cancelled both PM classes today and I never posted it on the website. Entirely my fault.

17:10ish Rx Except for on the burpee/pullup, I only jumped up to grab the bar–didn’t actually pull up on it. Hate the wall balls, baby!
