    Ahoy.

Word on the street is that PCFs version of Helen is doing the juice. Almost like an eastern european version if you will…

Given the time of this message, its somewhat incoherent nature, and Wisconsin’s choke job against Michigan, I am betting Siddarth’s response to the workout was written “under the influence.”

Helen is my favorite workout. Sorry I’ll have to miss it tonight. One more reason to hate Boston besides Red Sox fans and Patriots fans.

I love pcf has members that post on the wall at midnight wasted. No Sunday WOD for me… Let’s do something heavy tomorrow…

  4. Siddharth

Ahoy again. Stone cold sober after that ridiculously poor game…

So look at what was posted on PCF’s page as “Helen” and look at what HQ posts as Helen…

    :-)

I get it. Should be 21 swings and 12 pull-ups. So maybe Brian was the one I should be accusing.

Off to the airport. Too bad I don’t have time to visit CF Boston.

  6. Brian

Siddarth is correct - more perceptive drunk than I am sober. It should be 21 KB Swings then 12 Pullups.

Thoughts on Taleb: Good interview. There are a lot of “broken clock” doom n gloomers out there and I had mistakenly lumped him in with them before. I especially like that he was leery of more regulation. Will pick up his book.

Thoughts on the “bailout”: Horrible. Disturbingly similar to the immigration cramdown attempt last year that was nearly universally opposed by the public. If Goldman Sachs goes belly up do I really think the US will be suffering one year from now? No. But when these idiots from Congress try to “help” things get bad…

Thoughts on Henry Paulson: Disgraceful. He should resign and be replaced by the other Paulson.

Thoughts on the WOD: Was planning on coming in but I can still barely extend my arms after Thurs and Fri so I think another rest day is in order! Congrats on the FGB fundraiser.

    Thanks Siddarth!

We had 81 people run through FGB yesterday, happy that we got a good crowd, had some fun and raised $3,840 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Fund.

After the comments above by raja I think we need an fgb-style debate on economics. Paulson is the shiiiiiiiiiiiit

  11. Siddharth

Normal Helen, not the Eastern European kind..

    3 rounds
    400 m run
    21 KB 1.5 pood

Great job to those that showed up to the workout. Nothing like powering through Helen or Badger on a Sun evening. You guys rock.

    Helen, as r’xd for women
    3 rounds:
    400m
    21 KB swings (35#)
    12 pull ups
    11:44

Want to get this one closer to 10. Just wasn’t feeling it today. Would like to blame FGB from yesterday, but really, I just suck at WODs that involve running.

  14. Grant

    Helen as R’xd

    3 rounds
    400 m run
    21 KB 1.5 pood
    12 pull ups
