Spider Monkey – WTF, you have some explaining to do:

    http://hotchickswithdouchebags.com/2010/02/mandarin-orange/

What is the cultural aesthetic and moralistic breakdown within North American-Asian society as a whole that has led us to this?

I hope that we can stop this in time. We fought a losing battle in New Jersey, and the douchescrotery has spread like bad Milla Jovavich movies about stuff that spreads. I think.

Regardless, a line must be drawn.

As a sidenote, if you watched Jesey Shore recently (and I know many of you did), feel free to wax nostalgic with Erika, as that is the land of her birth.

    Brian’s drunk posting…

Brian- How in the world did you stumble upon that website? I really hope you didn’t google “hot chicks with douchebags.”

I decided to run the four courts four miler…I don’t know if I would consider what I did racing, but it was my first organized run. Finished in 29:48 I think- about a 7.5 minute pace.

  20. Tim M

    Mile: 6:24 (lifetime PR)
Bench: 7 at 155 (meh, bench is one of my weak points)
Pull-ups: 18 (lifetime PR, really happy about this one)
KB swings, 1.5 pood: 32 (first time doing 1.5 pood for anything, so I expect this # will only go up)

All in all, pretty pleased with today’s workout. Great job 11 a.m., though I fully expect more shirtless runners in the rain with me next time…

  21. Rick B

Great job Alli and Emilee killing the run.

  31. KristinPCF

    Good efforts at the 1100-
We didn’t do a leaderboard today because we wanted this to be YOUR benchmarks. You should be competing with yourself to improve your strength and times between now and the next workout like this.

And we had fun with the free class – threw in some row work, so that was interesting. hope to see those folks again!

  32. Guch

    Run- 6:10
KB snatch- 38 with right arm. Felt like I could hit 50 if I could use my left arm too.
Pull ups were 21 from last time I did them
Bench was 17 at 175# from last time

  33. JeremyB

    BP: 8 @ 200#
    PU: 19
    Mile: 5.46
    KB swings 57 @ 1.5 pood

Next time I’ll do KB snatches. Guch and Ken, thanks for the tutorial.

  34. Johnny

    BP: 11 @ 170#
    PU: 16
    Mile: 5:48
    KB swings 42 @ 1.5 pood

  35. Erika - PCF

As usual, don’t listen to Brian. Like all awesome things, I am from the great state of Texas. TEXAS, people.

  36. Spider Monkey

Yes that was a random Brian post… but let’s clarify a few things – first, spider monkey is mexican (ole!). Seriously though, come talk to Spidermonkey about Asians – I have my theories.

@ Simple Jack – so that’s what all that noise was outside my building. I figured there was a run or something judging by the screaming/ cheering. Should have let me known, I would have stepped outside to see you in a race (and of course cheer).

    Today’s WOD was fun:
    20 Pullups
    17 BP @ 155# BW
    37 KB swings @ 2 pood
    7:10 mile

Definitely dogged the mile (whoops). I blame it on pacing with Scotty too hotty for the first 400.

What happens when you put boys in a room/area with a 45# bumper plate? Weighted pushups of course. Did 15 with that on my back, then did as many slapping pushups, then clapping pushups, then regular pushups as I could. Thanks Ryan H., Jim, Ken, Drew for the idea.

  37. DF Pete/The Conclusion

Run: 6:23 Not too bad for me. It had been a while and I’m a few pounds heavier…know I can break the 6 min mark this summer! (almost caught Brian…but he pulled away by a few seconds before I could trip him)
    Bench: 17 @ 185
    Pull-ups: 15 (used mixed grip)
KB: 35 (did swings with 2 pood) That thing got heavy REALLY fast!

See everyone in a few hours!

  38. Vaughn (Lumberjack)

    Run: 7:34
    Bench: 14 @205
    PU: 17
    KB Snatch: 44

Definitely need to figure out my running better, but happy with everything else, should have pushed harder on the snatches, could have gotten 50 I think…

  39. Alli

    Pullups: 2.5 (PR)
Bench: 5 @105 (I wish that were body weight)
    Run: 7:32 (PR)
    KB Swings: 58 (these sucked)

  40. Max

    Mile-6:09
    BP-11@165
    PU-17
    KB-35

  41. Unemployed MANbaby

Vaughn you have now been nicknamed McGyver

  42. Kyle H.

    Good Xfit day!

7:01 mile – good time considering this is the first mile I’ve run in probably 6 months

19 body weight bench press at 165
15 strict pull ups (could only do 5 6 months ago)
60 kb swings at 1.5 pood in 2 min
