Will we be doing the run if there’s snow?

  2. DF Pete/The Conclusion

Damn! Cool WOD. I haven’t done a max C&J in forever.

Have to miss this one due to a work call tomorrow morning. I know….LAME!

  3. Lindsey

it is going to snow any minute now, AND it is going to get colder throughout the day. boo.

  4. Bob

    1RM Clean & Jerk = 175 (split jerk)
    2K time trial = 8:34 (including wipeout at Daniel & 10th)

  5. Bruce

    125, the clean&jerk confounds me.
    6r 5 on the metcon

  6. Chris M

    1RM Clean & Jerk = 145lb

Metcon 10 box jumps/10 kettle bell swings 1.5 pood
    AMRAP in 8 minutes
    7.75 rounds

  7. The Condition

C&J: 205 PR new PR for the squat clean and PJ
    Metcon AMRAP: 12 Rd’s 1 rep

Great job Paul. I thought I might have had you. Nice pace Bryce. Too bad we’re both sick

  8. Chris Wiz

    C&J: 165, failed 175 about 4 times
    Metcon 6 rounds 8 reps
I still need to reset after every box jump which really slows me down.

  9. Caitlin

clean and jerk: 120…should be able to do more but my front squat sucks.

    metcon: 7 rounds + 6 reps.

Yesterday, didn’t have access to a rower so tried mainsite WOD from a month ago:
    3 rounds:
    100 ft walk on hands
    2 min handstand hold
    15 HSPU

So, this was humbling. I completed 2 rounds cutting down the HSPUs to 10 in each round and it still took me 35 minutes. Cut up my hands walking on the cement. I recommend doing this indoors.

    Today:
C&J: 155. Squat still the limiting factor. Failed at 160 3 times tring to stand up the squat. I think I’m dropping my elbows trying to stand up but hard for me to tell.

    Running – I hate you: 8:56 2K

  11. Dave

    Back Squat 3 x 5
    235-245-245

    Annie
    9:40

Wrist rest days continue… Thanks Ryan and Liz for letting me and the misses hang out

  12. Dan K

1RM Clean & Jerk = 140lb. Failed at 145. I need to work on the jerk–I’m more push pressing it than jerking it.

Metcon 10 box jumps/10 kettle bell swings 1.5 pood
    AMRAP in 8 minutes
7 rounds plus two box jumps.

  13. Silent Assassin

    Athlete Exchange WOD:
    AMRAP C&J 165# in 4 min: 29
    AMRAP 3 CTB PU, 3 Burpees in 4 min: 9 rounds + 2 PU
500m Row then AMRAP DU in 4 min: 96 DU

Tied Chad for 2nd place. Hogan and Raleigh weren’t there. Pretty satisfied with this performance but should have pushed for a few more on the CTB & Burpees.

  14. Silent Assassin

Oh, it was a 1 min rest between WODs, for those who care.

  15. Leigh

Chris, I care. That 1 minute was really important.

  16. DF Pete/The Conclusion

    After meeting did:

    6 x 50m swim
5 x 25m swim windsprints (started out slow…finish at full throttle (well…I look like was at a snails pace…but it was all out for me).

Odd to be in a pool when its snowing outside! :)

I would HIGHLY recommend everyone to hop in a pool once every week or two for a swim WOD. Totally different feeling. This is Day 1 for me training for my tri in September. I’ll let you know how it goes.

  17. Kate L

125# on the clean and jerk. I was thisclose to 130 but I dropped my elbows on the jerk part and lost power on a couple tries, and was just too smoked on attempt 3. 6r+8 Rx’d for the metcon.

  18. Vaughn (Lumberjack)

    Athlete Exchange WOD:
    AMRAP C&J 165# in 4 min: 15
AMRAP 3 CTB PU, 3 Burpees in 4 min: 9 roundsU
500m Row then AMRAP DU in 4 min: ?? DU (scaled with modified rope. I can’t remember the number but think it was in the 30′s. I need to get better/faster as the second pull on my clean. It was much faster last week but maybe the snow slowed it this week…

  19. Chad PCF

    AMRAP C&J 165# in 4 min: 16
AMRAP 3 CTB PU, 3 Burpees in 4 min: 10 rounds
500m Row then AMRAP DU in 4 min: 103 double unders

Yes, Silent Assassin lifted a ton (literally, a ton) more weight than I did, but we still tied.

    Fun times over there.

DF Pete- where do you swim- been looking for a place to show off my speedo and maybe a lululemon or juicy couture warm-up suit.
