“Team CIndy”

In teams of 2, each team must alternate running 800m for 3 rounds. While the other team member is waiting, he/she is completing as many rounds of Cindy (5 Pullups, 10 Pushups, 15 Squats) as possible. Athletes will pick up where the other athlete left off in Cindy and continue to pass off Cindy from one athlete to the other, so the team has one total Cindy score and one total run time. Scoring = Total reps of Cindy multiplied by 10. Divide that product by total time in seconds.

This will make more sense when we explain it in person. Bring your dancing pants.

Should I bring a calculator too?? WTF.

  3. Scott Q.

Sorry ahead of time for ever is my partner. So very very sorry

  4. Brandon B

Completely understand that equation. Don’t necessarily under what it tells me, so can’t wait to understand that part!!!

PS – love the team workouts!!!

I do think some strategy applies here for “winning”. I seem to have remembered going all out on run doesnt always work the best (maybe like an 85% pace) but we will find out

Dear lord, that is too much math for a Saturday!

  8. Erin B.

I echo Scott and feel sorry for my partner. That’s a lot of Cindy — while I am running. I’ll be at the 11:00 am if anyone wants a long WOD :)

  9. Melanie

    Cindy + running. no words.

Looking at the scoring methodology….Going all out on runs won’t yield any benefit at all imo…..

    Rich you make sense…

If any trick-or-treaters knock on my door tonight, I’ll be handing out bacon strips. Do you think parents will mind?

Today was awesome. I love these team WODs. This was much better than a regular “Cindy”. I love it. If anyone is new and wondering, you don’t need to know people to do these team WODs. I don’t know anyone down here and have had a great time at each of these team WODs. Give it a try if you haven’t.

I didn’t total our score (teammate was Melanie) and unfortunately I didn’t have my stop watch with me but we definitely finished in under a minute…

Thanks for carrying us Rick- you were awesome.

  14. Kari

    Team Kari/Drew 25:23 with 25 2/3 rounds of Cindy

  15. Steven S

    19 1/3 rounds in 27:30 with Erin.

    If I understand Brian’s scoring properly, that’s a 0.117. That’s discouraging.

  16. Brad G

16 1/3 rounds – 27:43 with Patricia. Great work Patricia!

  17. Glen Gibson

Team Rachel/Glen… 28:05 for 20 rounds. Rachel was awesome, my pull-ups were not.
