Today, Siddharth identified my greatest contribution to Potomac Crossfit: the WOD music. Per my request, Siddharth played my Twisted Sister Pandora Radio station I designed when wodding with Curtis. As such our WOD music consisted of Poison, Twisted Sister, AC/DC, Metallica, and other glorious 80s rock music. Unanimously it was identified as the greatest WOD radio station/playlist ever. I can now die happy knowing I have made a signifigant contribution to Crossfit.

Felt strong and aggressive on 6th set. First 2 reps were great, but my right shoulder shifted just a fraction and everything came down. Will get it next time.
This workout looks awesome. I’m sorry to miss though not as sad as I was last night in Boston when Brian refused to do shots of fine Irish whisky…..so sad. How do you randomly bump into someone in an out of town hotel bar at 2am and not do shots?
Earlier i said i wouldn’t make excuses…but maybe Scott Q beat me soundly with the assistance of pre-WOD attire of a black TIMBERLAND mand purse with added zipper flare? I can’t swear to it, but I thought I saw him walk in wearing a pair of light tan TIMBERLAND boots prior to putting on his red booties.
So why do I have the exotic name and Kyle is just Kyle?
Anyway, Cindy is Spider Monkey’s workout – although taking shots and beer the night before probably hurt his performance on this… always room for more improvement.

Just needed a few more seconds to get those squats in for 20 (damn!). You know it went well when there’s a whole lotta chalk on the floor.
Spider Monkey – late night bacon at the Diner probably offset the effects of the shots, so you can’t use that as an excuse. It’s probably just powercleaning your bwt + like 100 pounds Thursday that left you a little tired.
I’ve called ahead for a room…and asked for extra oil and towels to be left on our bed. Bring you shaving kit, and i’ll bring the wine and my hopes and dreams.
I have no (good) excuse… there may or may not have been a more than interesting episode of the Real World on this morning, and I may or may not have been cleaning.
However, I did go into the work gym to do it. Pleasantly empty but hard to get through an AMRAP 20 min workout (especially one that I hate) without competition.
Still: 18 and 1/3 rounds Rx’d
The hardest part was the push-ups, had to break them up into fives almost from the beginning, pull-ups were almost all unbroken as were squats.
The rivalry is back on tomorrow (if I don’t drink too much tonight).
Well now Emma ruined the post I was about to leave. I’m leaving it anyway.
Still no word from Emma? I vote her nickname is NoShow. Not only did she blow off Sally at 10, she didn’t pick me up like we (hadn’t) planned. Then she ditched me on my invitation to do Cindy at Dept of Ed. Oh well.
19 rounds, 1 fewer than last month. I blame NoShow for not bringing music or motivating me. Finisher was a brisk walk to the Capitol to see Teddy off. (Once I figured out what all the cops were doing out.)
