Now THIS is a good birthday WOD.

  2. Ana Isabel

Can we sub 400m for 800m?

  3. seamus

    Ana,

Short answer, yes. Talk to tomorrow’s coach as to appropriate scaling

  5. Barrie

This looks brutal. Looking forward to it.

Change of plans, not going to be able to make it today. Just as well. My hands are torn up already, and Eva looks pretty tough.

BBQ IS TODAY!!! The details one more time…

PCF BBQ at Quincy Park, located at Washington Boulevard and North Quincy Street. (The grills and picnic tables are on the opposite side of the park, off of North Nelson Street) Start time is 3pm. We will be running it like the PCF movie premier… “BYOE” or Bring Your Own Everything! There are soccer fields, beach volleyball, softball, and basketball courts at the park – along with a playground that has monkey bars in case you need to get a few rounds of pullups in between burgers. Feel free to bring frisbees, footballs, bocce ball, water balloons, etc.

Picnic tables and grills are provided at the park. Paper products, utensils, grill stuff, and cups will be available for everyone to use, BUT please bring a snack to share in addition to whatever you plan to grill. We know how much everyone likes to eat – and more is always better!

Lastly, please remember that this is a public park so your beverage of choice must be in a cup or discreet container. And of course, ALL are welcome – bring your friends and significant others!

Please let me or LeeAnn know if you have any questions! Hope to see ya’ll there! :)

Oops Alli hijacking my computer again.

    as Rx’d

This was absolutely the hardest and most painful WOD I’ve ever done.

    49:XX Rx’d.

Thanks for letting me finish. I also kept losing track of all my numbers at the end and was relying on everyone around me….so big thanks for all the support. I literally blacked out for part of that.

    SEE YOU AT THE BBQ!!!!

  17. Kyle L

4 rds at rx in 37 something.

  18. Erika - PCF

That was quite possibly the worst thing I have ever done. I’m not sure that my runs actually qualified as running (more like a shuffle), but I finished. The cocktails from Eventide last night (and can’t forget those at O’Sullivan’s) also made a repeat appearance. Ugh.

    As rx’d: 57:28.

  19. JimmyG

scaled down to 1.5 pood KB and jumping pullups. Still only got 4 rounds by 36:13.

  20. MikePCF / Boston Mike

    37:45 as RX’D

That was by far one of the worst WODs ever. Great to job to all three classes this morning!

  21. Dave

    Functional Fitness WOD:

    Moving friend’s furniture
    Time: 2 hours

  22. Erin B.

    5 rounds

    Run 400m
    20 KB 1 pood
    20 Pullups
    27:xx

  23. Abi

    5 Rounds (39:50 min)

    800M Run
    20 KB Swings (1 Pood)
    20 Pullups (Blue band)

This was brutal, I don’t know why, but had some energy left to sprint around the last 150M in the 5th round, making the KB and Pullups on the 5th round almost impossible.
Today’s WOD gave my Lower back some nice beating …

  24. Chris K

    hardest. wod. ever.

    DNF as Rx’d
(completed 4 rounds in about 46 minutes)

New personal goal: Complete this WOD as Rx’d in < 40 minutes.

  25. Chris K

    hardest. wod. ever.

    DNF as Rx’d
(completed 4 rounds in about 46 minutes)

New Personal Goal: Complete Eva, as Rx’d, in < 40 minutes.

  26. Brian PCF

3 Rds Rxd in 30:38, then rang the bell.

Was planning on going to 40 min and just seeing what I could get, but was just physically/spiritually beat after the 3rd round. So DNF.

  27. Seamus

Great effort to everyone who attempted this today. Not for the faint of heart. Couldn’t wait for this WOD but ended up spending the day sailing and drinking beers. Tomorow. Can’t wait.

  28. Brian PCF

Oh, and sorry I didn’t make the bbq, I passed out when I got home then just woke up an hour ago. Lame.

  29. Erika - PCF

It was brought to my attention at the bbq that I said that last night’s cocktails made a repeat appearance. They did not. They just almost did. Just wanted to clarify….I still have a 100% record of not meeting Pukie on a WOD. Keeping the streak alive.

  30. Aaron PCF

Finished … Sort of. I had nothing after round three and just trudged through. The last two rounds probably took twelve minutes each.

    Finished rxd in 49:36
