    Its two hours later, and I still feel whipped.

    Scaled: 10 pullups, the rest as RXed

    5:30, 6: 50 something, 7:23, 8:something, and 7:10

    That’s a tough one. The pushups suck really bad, but I did not break my squats on the last 2 rounds. I feel like I need a nap.

    JPUs and a lot of knee assisted push-ups (~10 real push-ups in each of rounds 1-4)

    I have no idea. my fastest round was 3:22 and my longest round was like 6:30-ish as RX’d but the rest was me trying not to barf and ken shouting “ZERO, ZERO, ZERO” while i did pushups.

    OK, so I was thinking of taking today off on account of me not being able to flex my ankle without it feeling like my calf muscle will break in half (running is evil), but knowing that John F got up at 530 this morning to do Barbara of all things has convinced me I should at least do something. maybe heavy squats to make up for all of the muscle I catabolized to finish that race.

    Thanks, Jen! Cert was awesome, I tried to do you proud (esp when Rudy from Alexandria kept yelling “keep it up, Potomac, don’t make me tell Jen on you”) and I’m glad to be back and training at the best.box.ever.

    That said, I am taking a rest day today, cause I got my ass kicked HARD this weekend. Bottom to bottom tabata squats are no joke, especially when followed in the same day by a nice dose of Fran.

    Hey Crew,
    Today was a strength day for me. I also did my WOD at home in the back yard so I had limited equipment.

    All done with 16k KB With both Arms! My left shoulder is a pain in my ass!
    3X3 TGU’s
    3X3 Side bent presses
    1X5 Presses.

    I’m so &ucking excited that I was able to move and hold the 16k KB with my left arm. It felt strong. I know it’s going to hurt over the next few days but hey I just pressed a 16k KB with my left arm!!! WHoot!

    Everyday that I “Get” to coach at our gym I’m inspired by all your hard work. You all come in and put out 100% thanks to all of you that make me push myself!
    It’s feels good to be strong!

    I didn’t write down my times, but the overall time was 38:?? seconds. Thanks to Brian for erasing my last time, not allowing me to have an official time, lol. RX’ed the workout. Kipping pullups, and real pushups

    Before I begin my colorful excuses, just FYI we had 41 people run through Barbara today - just want to say BZ to all those folks, because as was mentioned previously, this is a monster bitch of a workout. If you showed up today, you have a nice pair of jeuvos.

    If this day was a kids show, the characters would be:

    Mr. Radius Ulner
    Princess CNS (for Central Nervous System)
    Brian, a Crossfitter on the mend
    The Count
    Oscar
    Mr. Puke Pucket

    Scene 1 - a Crossfit Gym

    Mr. Radius Ulner: So Brian, you’ve take two weeks off because of severe tendonitis in both elbows, what is the WOD.
    Brian: Barbara.
    Princess CNS: Oh my! Should you really do Barbara on a two week break. You’re going to fry yourself.
    The Count: That’s 700 total reps, ah-ah-ah!
    Oscar: Holy fuckballs, this is going to suck.
    Brian: No, I’ll do it anyway
    Mr. Puke Bucket: Oh, I’ll be seeing your ass soon muthatrucker.

    End Scene.

    Reality reared its ugly head, the pushups destroyed me:

    Rd 1 3:26 as rx’d
    Rd 2 4:58 as rx’d
    Rd 3 6:55 as rx’d
    Rd 4 9:18 (pushups on the knees for 25/wall pushups 15/Sharon in grave fear of being puked on)
    Rd 5 5:47 (pushups on the wall)

    Ahhhh, and I did day 1 of the burpee challenge, which I am way pissed everybody got on the bandwagon for this. I may start a no-burpees challenge in protest. Who can go 100 days without doing any burpees? I will not do 1 burpee tomorrow, then I will not do 2 burpees the day after that. I’m going to start a revolution baby!

    Wish I could say I did it as RX’d, but I did jumping pullups and knee pushups after the first round. Don’t remember my times. Just remember the pain.

    I felt pretty dizzy afterwards. That can’t be good…

    I hate this workout. Seriously. It sucks.

    I am embarrassingly bad at sit-ups. It’s one thing to be bad at push-ups or not do fast squats. But sit-ups? They’re like a kids exercise. It took me 90 seconds to complete 20 pull-ups and 30 push-ups. It went on to take me 2 minutes to finish the sit-ups.

    I wanted to keep all my times under 5 minutes. I’m nothing if not consistent.

    All time between 3 and 5 minutes (slowest was like 4:52). Four of them were in the 4 minute range I think.

    Hey, great job tonight guys. Like Brian said, Barbara is one monster bitch of a workout and y’all all have some juevos for coming out tonight and finishing. I’m constantly impressed by the drive and dedication of our athletes. You guys rock.

    4:25, 5:00, 5:54, 5:40, 4:45

    Total: 37:45

    All straight up as RXd.

    So yes, I still suck at pushups- by far the longest and most difficult part of each round for me. And now I can add situps to the mix of things I also suck at. It’s interesting how much your abs play into the kipping pullup. After the first round, I only broke up pullups was because my abs were on fire.

    I don’t even know what my times were but suffice to say, I will jump on the “Barbara is a dirty whore” bandwagon. Ugh. 45mins total I think? Even didn’t help lessen the dizziness. Had to switch to apu’s by round 3. By round 4, my head has pounding.
