Seamus Monaghan
As a former high school and collegiate rower, I developed an appreciation for pushing the limits of my physical abilities for the sake of improved athletic performance. Lacking this outlet for most of my adult life, I devolved into the standard body split weightlifting routine, mixed with long distance running/swimming. The monotony of this routine not only left me unmotivated and unenthusiastic but never resulted in the kind of serious improvements in physical performance that I was seeking. After moving to Washington D.C. and listening to Brian’s persistent (inference: annoying) arguments about the benefits of Crossfit, I decided to give it a try. Since my first workout I haven’t looked back. Rather, I am constantly looking forward to improving our athletes, myself and the level of coaching that we provide at PCF. I am inspired daily by both the people within the Crossfit community and by the thought of beating Brian in as many workouts as possible. Come in and give PCF a try. I think you’ll enjoy the people and beating Brian as much as I do.
