Doug Hoffman

I have always been an athletic person, three-season athlete in high school, one year of collegiate rowing, maintaining fitness for military school, and then keeping in shape to stay ahead of my Marines. Along the way I did some marathons, some triathlons, and tried assorted “activities” (sailing, golf, surfing, etc.). There were even a few periods of intense weightlifting in an effort to increase strength and put on weight. After leaving the military to go back to school I settled into a couple of “typical” routines to stay in shape and manage stress. Eventually (about 3-4 years ago) I decided to give CrossFit a try after much harassment by Brian. I’ve had successes and setbacks, but the trend is positive, and the return on investment from even a 3-4 day per week schedule necessitated by a demanding job has been fantastic. While a great workout program, the best part is the people. My primary goal in coaching is to help others reach their goals without making some of the (many) mistakes I have made along the way. I am the founder of T&C Ventures, a LLC that handles my training activities at PCF.
